Unlikely Partners? De Niro and Gibson Get Dark

Mel Gibson and Robert De Niro will be co-starring in Edge of Darkness, a movie adaptation of the award-winning BBC miniseries. The film will be helmed by the TV series' director Martin Campbell, who also directed 2006's Casino Royale and 1995's GoldenEye. William Monahan, who penned The Departed and the upcoming Body of Lies, is behind the screenplay. This is Gibson's first starring role since his infamous DUI arrest in 2006. More at First Showing
