
Director Rob Cohen has revealed to MTV what his plans are for the next Mummy movie, or at least a few ideas on where he wants the series to go. He told MTV "a fourth installment is all but guaranteed if audiences respond well to Mummy 3. With Tomb of the Dragon Emperor creeping up on The Dark Knight's record-breaking earnings, it looks like we can expect #4 in the next year or two. Spoilers to follow at MTV Movies Blog.
WB Decides to 'Drink, Play, F@#k'
Warner Bros. has acquired Author Andrew Gottlieb's book Drink, Play, F@#k, a response to the best-selling memoir Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Drink is a fictional account of a guy who, after his wife leaves him, boozes it up in Ireland, checks out "sex tourism" in Thailand, and rolls the dice in Vegas. Gilbert's tale of divorce, self-discovery, and tasty food in Italy, India, and Indonesia has been featured on Oprah twice and was a New York Times best-seller. Ruffalo Gets Delicious
Actor Mark Ruffalo has signed on to direct and star in Sympathy for Delicious, a drama about a homeless, paralyzed LA DJ who finds himself gifted with the ability to heal others. Screenplay writer Chris Thorton will star as DJ Delicious, aka Dean O'Dwyer. James Franco is also set to star in the project. More at Variety
