On the heels of Lauren Conrad's first fashion show, a crowd of teen queens are announcing their plans to follow suit.
First in line is Lauren's arch-nemesis Heidi Montag, whose (appropriately cheesy) "Heidiwood" line with Anchor Blue will debut in April. Also stepping up to bat is fellow Hills co-star Whitney Port, who has an upcoming fall line - "cocktail and partywear" for her "Eve & A" clothing line. Meanwhile, OC alum Rachel Bilson is designing a denim line of dresses, jackets, jeans, knits and tee-shirts for DKNY. Avril Lavigne is turning her punk-rocker style into a Kohl's clothing line, and Nicole Richie is also be waxing fashionista. Inspired by her recent pregnancy, the new mommy may be designing a maternity line.
So far Lauren's clothing is being called disappointing and overpriced (read this scathing review of her show), so it shouldn't be too tough for these new divas to outdo her. Judging from how they dress themselves, I'm putting my money on Rachel's line. And staying far far away from Avril's!
