7/23/08 - * DOHERTY ORDERED TO PAY UP FOR SMASHED CAMERA Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY has been ordered to pay more than $1,800 (£900) to a paparazzo for smashing up her camera. The Babyshambles frontman appeared at Yeovil Magistrates' Court in Somerset, England on Thursday (24Jul08) to answer a charge of criminal damage following the August 2007 run-in with Catherine Mead. He pleaded guilty to the charge and magistrates ruled he must pay $1,836.54 (£918.27) to compensate Mead, as well as a further $200 (£100) in costs.
