MEL GIBSON has been given the all-clear to get on with his life after completing the terms of his plea agreement following a much-publicised drink-driving arrest in 2006.

2/13/08 - MEL GIBSON has been given the all-clear to get on with his life after completing the terms of his plea agreement following a much-publicised drink-driving arrest in 2006. The Braveheart star appeared before a judge in a Malibu, California courthouse on Wednesday (13Feb08) and was told, "You're well on your way to success." Gibson hit the headlines when he used anti-Semitic language during a boozy tirade on a police officer during a DUI arrest in California. He pleaded no contest to driving while over the limit and he was fined, sentenced to three years probation and ordered to attend a year of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Gibson also publicly apologised to the Jewish community for his drunken remarks.
