She is American Indian, Algonquin from Onterio and took on Chenoa to respect her ethnicity.
She went platinum blonde for the role of Janey and was given one day to travel to Arizona where she filmed "Stalked!" before she was able to go back to her natural dark brown hair color.
Started reading and writing at three years of age.
Was born on New Years Day at 5:08am, spending the rest of her life known as a "New Years Baby".
Even though she ever had singing or dancing lessons and had never auditioned or done any theater before, Myla landed a major part in the musical production of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" at age fourteen with the local theater group.
Was kicked out of her home at age fifteen and lived on the streets until she was eighteen. She made a living by making handmade jewelry and selling her poetry to publications. She also interned for a brief time at a local television station even though she was not in school.
Began modeling after being discovered at age fourteen when she was 5 6".
Though her biological mother lived in Pennsylvania, she went to Arizona to give up Myla for adoption and then returned to Pennsylvania. Myla was adopted at three months old.
Her older biological brother Kevin died under suspicious circumstances on Christmas of 2004.
Has three biological siblings, an older brother Kevin, an older sister Heather and a younger brother Ronny. Has four step siblings, the youngest being eight years older than her.
