Actress Pamela Anderson once turned a TV commercial shoot into a circus after asking playful pal DAVID LaCHAPPELLE to be her assistant for the day.

The busty babe was shooting a commercial for satellite radio firm Sirius and decided to hire LaChappelle and his odd entourage when company bosses decided not to use the colourful artist/photographer as director.

Anderson explains, "They didn't want David, so he was hired as my companion, and he would walk to and from the set with me.

"We also brought three skateboarders, an entire circus, transvestites."
