American model CAPRICE has been hailed a hero after saving the life of a girl who suffered a fit outside a London nightclub.

The 33-year-old - who is based in the British capital - caught the girl as she collapsed and began convulsing, and cradled her in her arms, ensuring she stayed awake and continued breathing.

Onlooker CANDYCE McARTHUR tells British newspaper The Sun, "The girl seemed to have a fit. She collapsed and hit her head on the curb and lay twitching. Caprice knelt by her and spoke with her so she would not lose consciousness.

"She also turned her on her side to make sure that she did not choke.

"When the girl came to she thanked Caprice. They hugged and held hands."

Caprice says, "I am glad I was able to help and everything turned out ok. I just did what anybody would have done."
