DISNEY ALMOST ENDED IT FOR ESTEVEZ
Date: Sep. 27, 2006 | Category: Movie News
American actor/director Emilio Estevez was heartbroken after his movie THE WAR AT HOME bombed, and he blames Disney for its poor performance.
The star came close to quitting Hollywood in 1996 after Disney released the film in just four cinemas, despite a warm reception from critics.
Estevez says, "It (The War at Home) was well received and well reviewed and then dismissed.
"And then they (Disney) released the film in four theatres. The heartbreak of that almost forced me out of the business."
