Wentworth Miller calls his mother every time he receives a new script for hit TV show PRISON BREAK - in case anything bad happens to his character.

The actor, 36, admits he constantly has to ease his mother's fears over the future of his character Michael Scofield.

He explains, "When something terrible happens to Michael, which is every other episode, I have to give my mum a heads-up or else I get a stern phone call the day after where she tells me how upset she got."
