LATEST: A missing woman who sparked a search led by NCIS star Pauley Perrette has been found.
The actress launched a public appeal to help find her missing pal Lami Nicole Powlesland over the weekend.
Powlesland vanished last week (ends11Jun08) and officials were contacted when her belongings were found on a popular hiking trail.
A relieved Perrette has since revealed her friend is alive and well.
She tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, "Thankfully, this one has a happy ending. I was with the missing girl's parents at my church when we got the call that she was found."
Perrette, who plays a criminologist on TV, admits she's grateful to all The Police who took part in an extensive search over the weekend.
She adds, "They were amazing in their late-night search."
