CARTEL TO ROCK OUT IN A BUBBLE
Date: May. 23, 2007 | Category: Music News
U.S. rockers CARTEL are to write and record a new album in a bubble in New York's Hudson River Park as part of a Dr Pepper promotion.
The soda company has teamed up with MTV to create the first Dr Pepper Band In A Bubble challenge.
The group will be on show to fans and the curious from 24 May (07) to 12 June (07), as they live in a bubble while working on their second album - the follow-up to breakthrough hit album Chroma.
Meanwhile, giving the ruse a Big Brother-style theme, Dr Pepper technicians have set up a series of webcams in the group's temporary home, which will capture the group at work and play.
Footage will be streamed live on DrPepperBubble.com and the event will air as a music special with four 30-minute episodes on MTV.
