COLDPLAY PULL PLUG ON TOUR MERCHANDISE

British rockers Coldplay has pulled some of their merchandise from the stands on their current U.S. tour - because it is "c**p", according to frontman Chris Martin.

The singer and his band were so let down with the quality of the items that they demanded the goods be taken off their shelves - even though this ultimately means less money for them.

Martin says, "We were in the dressing room in L.A. looking at some of the stuff and much of it, especially some of the t-shirts, looked terrible.

"We put so much work into our music. The same quality control has to extend to stuff being sold at our shows and we made that clear. It has to be a no c**p zone."
