LATEST: A protest by My Chemical Romance fans against what they claim is an unfair media portrayal of the band has been filmed for a documentary.
Fans took to the streets of London, England at the weekend (31May08) to march in support of the rockers, who have been blasted by British newspaper the Daily Mail for their dark, moody music and lyrics - which have made them popular among 'emo' youths.
The newspaper suggested the suicide of teenager Hannah Bond from Kent, England in September last year (07) was linked to her love of emo music, including the work of the I Don't Love You hitmakers.
But fans hit back at the band's critics during the march from London's Hyde Park to the offices of the Daily Mail on Saturday.
And the march has been turned into a film by internet music site Audio Junkies. They've posted a trailer online, entitled Emo Protest vs Daily Mail.
The documentary covers the protest and includes footage of fans tearing up a Daily Mail newspaper, as well as interviews with protesters.
