R+B star NE-YO takes care to select choice hotels when he's travelling, after a clerk at one New York high-rise gave a fan the key to his room.

The SO SICK singer was stunned when he returned to his room after a day of promotion and found the young devotee sitting on his bed.

He says, "Somebody that worked at the hotel I was at told her I was there and gave her a key to my room... She just wanted an autograph, or whatever.

"There was nothing crazy but that was a little weird."
